| Kellena has vacationed with her family on Nantucket Island every year since she was born. Her grandparents honeymooned on the island and her parents took their first trip there in 1972. Kellena has many fond memories of growing up on Nantucket and considers the island a second home. She has always dreamed of getting married in this special place.
We had our first wedding discussion the weekend we fell in love in Paris. Kellena asked Doug where he would want to be married and he said, "on the beach" – of which Nantucket has 82+ miles! The date was chosen because it is exactly half-way between Kellena’s birthday in April and Doug’s on Christmas Eve. And so, an August beach wedding on Nantucket seemed like it was meant to be.
