Doug began his professional career as a Designer at Web.com in Atlanta working with Fortune 500 companies. His superior organizational and management skills quickly earned him a promotion to the position of Web Development Manager in which he oversaw fifty designers and developers. After relocating to New York City, Doug was hired as a Project Manager at ThomasNet, the website design and development division of Thomas Publishing. He managed a team of designers and created websites for industrial manufacturing companies across the country. Then Doug moved into the role of Website Implementation Engineer in which he assisted clients through the steps of the website design process from initial conception to a live website.

Since returning to Western New York, Doug has launched External Experts and helped many local businesses establish their online presence. He has also completed freelance and contract design work for a few local design and advertising companies. Doug's natural eye for aesthetics, command of the design process, and mastery of the latest website techniques, along with his professional experience, make him and External Experts a strong competitor in the industry. Doug is a proud City of Buffalo resident, where he lives with his wife and family.
